TUV Beach Volleyball is dedicated to helping athletes grow through technical training, strategic gameplay, and structured competition in a positive and energetic beach environment.

Welcome to TUV Beach Volleyball – 2025 Season

Whether you're new to beach volleyball or returning for another season, we're excited to have your family join the TUV Beach Volleyball program. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, athlete-centered experience that fosters growth, competition, and fun through USA Volleyball-sanctioned events.

Youth beach volleyball operates under USA Volleyball (USAV) and the Great Plains Region, which governs eligibility, safety standards, and competition rules across Nebraska and surrounding areas. Players must hold an active USAV membership to participate in sanctioned leagues and tournaments. This ensures all athletes are insured, ranked, and eligible for regional and national competition.

Unlike indoor volleyball, beach volleyball typically features 2-player teams, smaller courts, and unique strategies that develop all-around skills. Athletes learn to read the game, communicate effectively, and take full responsibility for every touch. At TUV, we structure our beach program to support both new and experienced athletes, with opportunities to train, compete in leagues, and enter local and regional tournaments recognized by USAV.

🏐 CLUB TRYOUTS

  • Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025 (April 6th if Needed)

🚨 CLUB PRACTICE START

  • Start Date: Tuesday, May 27, 2025 (first Tuesday after most schools end in Omaha & Surrounding areas.)

  • Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Location: Sinnotts or Riverfront (based on demand & availability)

👥 PLAYER DIVISIONS & STRUCTURE

  • Total Capacity: 50 Athletes

    • 10 National (Competitive)

    • 20 Regional & Local (Semi-Competitive)

    • 10 TEAMS (REC)

  • Pairing:

    • Local & League Division: Athletes choose their own partners (Director & Coaches can will help as needed)

    • National, Regional: Director and coaching staff assign pairs

  • Mobility:

    • Players may move up with director approval

    • Players may move down voluntarily

  • Offer Acceptance: Must be accepted same day as issued

📌 NOTES & CONSIDERATIONS

  • Avoids major conflicts with graduations and Memorial Day (May 26)

  • First major tournament in Omaha is May 17 — aligns with preseason prep

  • Indoor backup location will be communicated as needed due to weather

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    NATIONAL

    🏐 TUV Beach Volleyball – Competitive Division Overview (2025)

    The Competitive Division is for advanced athletes seeking high-level beach training and tournament play. Athletes are encouraged to compete in 6 tournaments throughout the summer and will train 2x per week with professional coaching focused on strategy, skill refinement, and performance.

    Cost: $550
    Includes:

    ✔️ 1 - Tryout Shirt & 2 Practice Shirts

    REGIONAL

    🏐 TUV Beach Volleyball – Semi-Competitive Division Overview (2025)

    The Semi-Competitive Division is designed for intermediate athletes who want to train and compete at a locally and regional level with more flexibility. Athletes are encouraged to participate in 4 tournaments and train 2x per week with focused coaching on development and game play.

    Cost: $475
    Includes:
    ✔️ TUV End of Season Tournament
    ✔️ Practice 2x/Week
    ✔️ 1 - TUV Beach Jersey
    ✔️ 1 Tryout Tank Top & 2 Practice Shirts
    ✔️ TUV Backpack (Semi-Comp Design)

    Note: Only 10 semi-competitive spots are available. Pairings and placements are determined by coaching staff after tryouts.

    LOCAL

    🏐 TUV Beach Volleyball – League Division Overview (2025)

    The League Division is ideal for athletes who want to enjoy beach volleyball in a structured, fun, and developmental environment. Players will train and compete in weekly league play with one end-of-session tournament hosted by TUV.

    Cost: $350
    Includes:
    ✔️ 1 End-of-Session Tournament (Hosted by TUV)
    ✔️ Practice 1x/Week
    ✔️ 1 - TUV Beach Jersey

    ✔️ 1 Tryout Tank Top

    Note: Players may choose their own partners. Spots are limited to 20 athletes per session. No tryout required.

    4 v 4 LEAGUE

    🏐 TUV Beach Volleyball – League

    The League Division provides athletes with a fun, competitive, and developmental indoor volleyball experience. Teams will compete weekly, finishing with a high-energy tournament hosted by TUV.

    Cost: $50 per player ($200 per team of 4) PER SESSION (2 SESSIONS)
    Includes:
    ✔️ Weekly League Matches (Format: 4v4, subject to change to 3v3 or 2v2 based on sign-ups to maximize fun and engagement)

    ✔️Winners will receive TUV T-shirts

    Note:
    – Teams may consist of up to 5 players
    – Limited to 10 teams (40 athletes total)
    – No tryout required
